Congo Pavilion Retreat

A perfect location!  Opposite the Congo Creek where you can kayak and enjoy nature at its best.  Or a very short walk to the ocean to enjoy.

This property was built by the current owners so their family could enjoy amazing holidays, which they certainly can say has been achieved, along with creating many happy memories.  In their planning it was important to create space for all the family and friends to enjoy, to live separately, but coming together to enjoy mealtimes inside, or outside, while relaxing on the extensive covered deck, watching the children take advantage of the covered atrium that joins both pavilions.

Pavilion one is the larger of the two, featuring a main bedroom, ensuite, B.I.R.  Large separate study or ideal nursery space.  Laundry with extra W.C.  Cathedral ceilings complement the kitchen and living areas creating a lovely sense of space. The kitchen is open, bright, and has loads of storage space, with a deep bench/breakfast bar.  There is plenty of room for the casual meals, plus space for a children’s play space.  High cathedral ceiling covering the kitchen and living areas creating a lovely sense of space, designed to perfection I say.  It was important to design a kitchen where anyone can cook up a storm and feed all the guests in a relaxed style sitting at the bench, at the table or spread outside in deck chairs. 

Pavilion two has two large bedrooms both feature B.I.R’s.,  family bathroom with bath and shower, a separate WC.  Again, high cathedral ceiling covers the relaxing lounge space. Large linen cupboard is a bonus.  Opening onto the deep covered verandah that extends across both pavilions.

This property has recently been on the Airbnb list, and very welcomed by visitors and guests that have come to relax and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle here in Congo.

To the rear of the property is two semi enclosed car spaces plus lock up garage, (as a bonus), placed here so as not to disrupt the natural bush landscape.     A couple of lemon trees being the exception.

Congo is a village surrounded by National Parks on 3 sides with the ocean to the east.  Congo Creek flows to the Tasman Sea at the northern end of the village.  The beach is noted as a good location for surfing.  Suggestion - Take the 14 km Bingi Dreaming track described as “a coastal walk that traces the ancient Song Lines of the Yuin Aboriginal people”.  This is an amazing part of the world waiting just for you.
