It is the ' feeling' that comes on finding the right property, definitely not the bricks and mortar. Possibly no logic to this, however, and as a real estate agent it is something I see often, and it's lovely. Good to start with a bases of your requirements but don't eliminate properties because of it....a hidden treasure could be waiting for you.
